Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples was born in the United States and she is a performer, artist, actress and singer. Most famously, she is known for her role as Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama, and Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). Also, she portrayed the lead part of Jerrica Jem Betnton in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with her parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey appeared in the Orlando Repertory Theatre in her young age for 10 years. She was the valedictory speech of her class in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University admitted her, however, she was required to vote to her admission the second time due to her Nashville performance. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress was also in two television-based movies: Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). In the second season, she was cast as Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples admitted to bipolar in a 2019 interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples in September 2014 as one of the top American young actors.
